The Look and Feel

Player Profile: Tim Lincecum

Lincecum has switched colors, not models, with his black Rawlings PROS991 glove.

Glove – Rawlings PROS991BCBR (changed from tan version, unavailable in black)

You can see from the photo below that Lincecum’s glove is not exactly like the one in the feature, as the laces are not white.  The reason why is I photoshopped it so it would be black, but that is a photo of the tan PROS991BCBR that we highlighted in the last Lincecum post.  The black version is not available anywhere online, but the tan version still is (I used it all season on the mound and loved it, my first Pro Preferred).

Cleats – Nike Air MVP Pro (changed from New Balance 1103KLavailable, but not same colors)

Hard to make out, I know, but those are the new MVP Elite model.

Lincecum’s new cleats are the same model as Melky’s fluorescent All-Star shoes Nike Air MVP Pro model in black/white, which are not available online; however, the cleats in the feature are very similar (with a grey front), and are available online.  He’s also worn them with a black Swoosh with a white outline (below).  ***Thanks to WPW reader Moe for helping out here.***

Not that he wears them on gamedays, but Lincecum is still wearing those “saint” bracelets we had in our previous Timmy post.  They can be found here.

Love it, hate it, proof we're wrong? Let the world know.
